Jidong Oilfield Develops a New Type of Filter Core Carbonization Cleaning Device to Reduce Costs and Increase Efficiency

On October 22nd, at the Laoyema Joint Station of the Oil and Gas Gathering and Transportation Company of Jidong Oilfield, employees used a newly developed carbonization cleaning device for filter cores to clean the filter cores. The cleaning process was both convenient and environmentally friendly.
In the oil and gas gathering and transportation production system, the filter cores, which are the core components of the filters, are prone to being clogged by impurities such as crude oil resins, congealed oil, sand, flocs, and dead branches and weeds during use. The traditional manual cleaning method is inefficient, labor-intensive, and accelerates the wear of the filter cores, leading to frequent replacements and high costs.
Facing this challenge, technicians actively carried out technological research and development. They innovatively drew on the technical principles of oil sludge drying devices, focusing on the core requirement of environmental protection, and set their goals on improving efficiency, reducing labor intensity, and achieving equipment intelligence. They successfully developed a set of efficient and environmentally friendly carbonization cleaning device for filter cores.
This device integrates a hot water washing and carbonization system, a flue gas filtration system, a nitrogen protection system, and an automatic temperature control system. It uses hot water to separate and remove crude oil. After the dirty oil and wastewater are completely drained, nitrogen is injected into the sealed cylinder. The annular heating tubes heat the nitrogen. In the high-temperature environment, the remaining organic clogging substances are completely carbonized. The flue gas produced by carbonization enters a three-stage high-efficiency filtration system for purification. The filter cores only need to be gently tapped with a steel brush, and the carbonized solid waste will easily fall off. The cleaning operation of this device has been optimized from two people manually operating for 60 minutes to one person operating for 29 minutes, saving about 25,000 yuan in processing costs annually.
